HOPEDALE MENNONITE CHURCH 
Hopedale Mennonite Church is a local body of Jesus Christ, led by the Holy Spirit, committed to living God's word. We worship God, proclaiming his love and grace through service, hospitality and friendships, inviting others to follow Jesus.

HMC’s structure is designed to optimize the congregation’s spiritual gifts and encourages open participation and communication. Church leadership includes a board, the pastoral team and five commission areas. The board oversees the pastoral team, the Spiritual Gift Discernment Committee, and is responsible for the larger direction of the church congregation. The pastoral team provides spiritual and pastoral leadership, and is charged with equipping others through preaching and by offering themselves as an educational resource.
Each commission has a defined role in support of congregation life. The Spiritual Gifts Discernment Committee is responsible for identifying gifts and recommending members for service. These recommendations are then confirmed by the congregation. A pastoral team member is assigned to each commission to provide support and continuity. The Commissions are further outlined below.
Administration Commission—The Administration Commission is charged with support of the other commissions areas including all church facility, finance and communication avenues.
Outreach Commission—The Outreach Commission provides leadership and direction for, and oversight of all ministries which involve sharing the love of Christ beyond His body.
Community Life Commission—The Community Life Commission is charged with providing opportunities for fellowship and nurturing the path to a fruitful and faithful life together in the Body of Christ.
Discipling Commission—The Discipling Commission provides the support for all ministries which focus on learning and personal growth for the three areas of congregational life: worship, community life and outreach.
Worship Commission—The Worship Commission has oversight of all gathered worship and all other ministries which involve our relationship with Christ.
